Q: What do CPRx physicians prescribe for chronic pain?
A: The physicians at CPRx prescribe the appropriate opiod medications for your documented chronic pain problem. CPRx physicians do not prescribe OxyContin® or Dilaudid®.
Q: Do you offer other alternative therapy for chronic pain?
A: Our physicians work with outside medical agencies to provide adjunct treatment to your chiropractic or other ongoing alternative pain relief therapies.
Q: What is the cost for an initial evaluation and treatment?
A: The initial charge is $150.00. Follow-up visits cost $75.00.
Q: How do I obtain the ordered medications?
A: You may obtain them from our office's dispensary or take prescriptions to a local retail pharmacy.
Q: Are you able to prescribe other medications?
A: If there is a medical necessity for other medications, these are prescribed as well.

A: Advanced Medical offers four specialty services: The Centers for Pain Relief, Psychiatry, Detoxification and Longevity (Anti-Aging).
Q: A: What does the Center for Psychiatry offer?
A: Knowledgeable, expert psychiatry utilizing any necessary medication to make a person well.
Q: How does a patient qualify for the detoxification program?
A: If the medications you are taking no longer have the desired effect and if an abrupt cessation of the medication causes physical withdrawal and/or mental anguish, you could be a candidate.
Q: What are the costs associated with a detoxification program?
A: The Center for Detoxification offers many specific and different detoxification programs. Generally costs include the office visit and medications prescribed during a set period of time.
Q: Specifically, how do you treat someone addicted to heroin?
A: We ask you to come in for a previsit, fill out paperwork and receive an explanation of the requirements to be part of the Buprenorphine Sublingual Medication Program.
Although acute detoxification is completed within 10 days, the general length of the shortest complete detoxification program is usually 6 weeks. The 6-week program costs run between $1250.00 complete with office visits and prescribed medications. The attending physician and you may decided to continue with a buprenorphine product such as Suboxone® past the 6-week program.
Additional charges may be incurred for services and medications past the 6-week program.
Q: What do you do if I am addicted to pills, like Oxycontin®,
Methadone®, Lorcets® or Percocets®?
A: The physicians at CPRx generally utilize a Buprenorphine product when the patient has become tolerant or addicted to prescription medication. Which type of Buprenorphine: Buprenex®, Subutex® or Suboxone® depends on your medical situation and the treatment plan developed by you and your physician.
Q: If I am suffering with anxiety or depression, do you help with these conditions?
A: The Center for Psychiatry provides licensed mental health care providers who offer compassionate medication management utilizing all FDA approved medications and brief psychotherapy as needed.
Q: How soon can I schedule an appointment?
A: Schedule an appointment immediately and you can be seen within the week.
Q: What are your hours of operation?
