The Problem With Painkillers
|
| Anyone can become physically
tolerant, dependent or even addicted to
prescribed narcotic medications.
Physicians utilize effective medications
like codeine, codone and their
derivatives for a variety of illnesses
and injuries. Manufacturers of commonly prescribed opiates such as
Lorcet®, Vicodin®, Percocet®, Demerol®, etc., warn of
these side effects and recommend ceasing
medication use as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, patients often
require additional medical help ceasing use after even short-term
prescriptions. Clinical research is underway as
governing bodies and pharmaceutical
manufacturers try to replace these
medications with others that don’t
create physical and mental side effects.
Until now the only options
have been for patients to suffer in pain
from their injury or medical condition,
withdraw from their medication and
increase their pain, or continue to
function using opiates, with all the
negative side effects.

Advanced Medical's CPRx Solution
|
|
CPRx‘s outpatient medical therapy removes tolerance and
dependency from prescription medications and street narcotics.
These include medications prescribed for injury or illness and
non-prescribed drugs such as heroin. Our program is completed within a 2 to
3 week period. During the initial visit, medication
is administered that completely removes withdrawal pain and discomfort.
A schedule of medication administration is outlined by the physician for the
patient to follow at home. Instead of withdrawal or pain, patients
report feeling energetic, focused and alert. In week 2, medication dosage is generally halved. Complete pain relief follows with the same startling success. Please refer to documentation available from the manufacturer of buprenoprphine products, Reckitt Benckiser for descriptions of any known side effects.
